ELECTRIC FORKLIFT / AUTO ELECTRICAL Technician

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior Electric Forklift Technician / Auto Electrical Technician to join our friendly and supportive team to carry out electrical diagnostics, servicing and repairs. We have a broad customer base and large forklift rental fleet which requires field servicing and workshop based repairs .

Kiwifruit, Port, Manufacturing, SME, Storage and Distribution industries are our primary clients and the work is varied, so a good knowledge of electric forklift trucks would be advantageous but we are willing to train the successful applicant who comes from an auto electrical background.

If you have the following in your toolbox, then we would love to hear from you:

- Qualification: 3-5+ years’ experience (post apprenticeship)
- Good knowledge and understanding of electronic software and electrical circuits
- Solid diagnostic ability using laptop and other electrical controllers
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Clean drivers license
- Good communication skills and computer literacy
- A positive, can do anything attitude
